RESERVED Reference Number 5/1436. Late 19th century c. 1870, French gilt Napoleon III pier glass mirror with a bay leaf and ribbon crest and typical square corners featuring a central rosette. The patina of the gilding is quite rich and dark and the deeply bevelled original silver backed mirror plate is slightly marked; it has the original wooden back. The size is 175 x 107cm (69 x 42 inches) £3000. |
