Reference Number 6/1143. Late 19^th century c. 1880, French gilt overmantel with a crest of a central scallop shell and acanthus leaves trailing from it. The frame has a distinct geometric pattern engraved on three sides and the traditional straight bottom of the overmantel, this has no decoration on it. It has the original silver-backed mirror plate with the most gorgeous age marks on it and a later back. The size is 144 x 97cm (56.5 x 38 inches) £2100.
