Reference Number 6/1574. Mid 19th century c.1870, French gilt Napoleon III period mirror with an egg and dart frame and a large crest of a flaming torch and quiver of arrows and a perching pair of doves (shown here with temporary legs until it is hung). This is also quite a shabby mirror that has a very smoky patina to the gilding, the original quite mottled silver-backed mirror plate and planked wooden back. The size is 160 x 98cm (63 x 39.5 inches) £3000.
